Contoh is a small, independent blog about the things we find interesting — and think you might too.
Contoh is the Malay word for “example.” That’s what we try to share: good examples of interesting things.
Each day we pick out stories and ideas worth your time: technology that changes how people work, business ideas that are smarter than they look, health and wellness habits that hold up to scrutiny, and how-tos that save you an afternoon of trial and error.
What you’ll find here
- News — stories worth knowing about, explained without the noise.
- Tech & AI — new tools, what they’re good for, and what they’re not.
- Business — ideas, trends and lessons for people who make things and sell them.
- How-To — practical, step-by-step guides.
- Wellness — sensible takes on living a bit better.
- Opinion — commentary pieces, clearly labeled as opinion.
How we write
We keep it short, clear and useful. We say when something is our opinion, and opinion pieces are labeled as opinion.
Our articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against the sources we link to before they are published. We date our guides and update them when facts change.
Bylines are pen names. Each section of the site has its own byline, so you can see at a glance which topic a guide belongs to – they are not the names of real staff writers.
We also make our own products, and from time to time we’ll write about them. When we do, we’ll always tell you it’s ours.
If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
